About Puckdoku!
Simply select a player that satisfies the specified row and column criteria, dear fans.
How to achieve high scores?
It's essential to have a deep understanding of the game's rules and requirements. Here are some key points to keep in mind:
- The player selected must have played at least one regular or postseason NHL game for the team to count.
- If a box represents both an award/stat and a team, the player's performance or statistics must have been recorded while they were a member of that team during the relevant season.
- In cells that combine two types of statistics, it is not necessary to achieve those statistics in the same season.
- Relocated teams are counted as a single franchise. Specific classic teams, such as the Hartford Whalers, form a unique category in which all team relocations are ignored.
- Each player can only be chosen once and cannot be changed. Each choice counts as one guess, regardless of whether it's correct or not. You only have nine guesses in total.
- If a player is traded mid-season for a statistical item or team item, the statistics for that season will not be combined.
The Meaning of the Rarity Score
In Puckdoku, the rarity of your selections is determined by adding up the percentage for each chosen player, plus 100 for each empty spot. A lower score indicates that the players selected are more unique choices.
