Subwaydle
Subwaydle is a difficult puzzle game that fans of the subway system will love. Participants are required to estimate a specified combination of three trains that may form a legal subway journey with transfers between them. The aim is to locate the one route that suits the puzzle of the day while adhering to the restrictions and limits of the New York City Subway system.
Regulations for Subwaydle
- Each estimate must be a genuine subway journey with three trains and possible transfers between them.
- No backtracking is permitted, which means that no stations may be visited more than once.
- Transfers are permitted only where lines divide, with particular transfer permissions to and from certain stops as well as free out-of-system transfers.
- Each rail line's itinerary is based on the midday timetable, whereas weekend crosswords use frequently planned weekend routings.
Mission and Vision
Players must examine different paths that may be used to complete the journey, but their purpose is to choose the one that best fits the puzzle of the day. It should be noted that the answer is not always the quickest or most efficient route, which adds a layer of planning and troubleshooting to the game.
